Solar De La Plaza Hotel - Salta

The room was spacious and had a view of a lovely courtyard. The super nice team, especially the front desk, who helped arrange my trips. The location was perfect for exploring the area. A fantastic experience 😊

Very helpful and dedicated staff (e.g. great help with last-minute car hire). We got a room upgrade, without extra charge. Cozy pool on the roof, although quite small. Nice spacious rooms, clean and airy. We had a room at the back, which was very quiet. You can relax here. As for us, it was the most beautiful and well kept accommodation in Argentina so far, with very polite staff. Breakfast offers relatively much choice.

The junior queen room was fashionable, included shower facilities and a hairdryer. The location was excellent and unbeatable for me, close to the center of Salta. I found Los Cebiles Resto Bar offering shots and different drinks 1 km of the venue...

The gym was hardly usable with broken equipment, a letdown for my fitness routine. Breakfast was disappointing, with very limited fruit available and the extra cost for eggs felt ridiculous for a hotel like this.

Peaceful and perfect setting in the pretty area, close to the center of Salta, all major attractions and Solar de la Plaza. Delicious and wonderful breakfasts with good food👌😃😀

Consider using the valet service for stress-free parking, especially if you're not planning to use your car during your stay.

The hotel was very nice for being a four star hotel. Nice rooms, exceptional location, and very good breakfast.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience with the attitude of the staff at the moment of the check out. We stayed in this hotel for only one night. While we were sleeping, in the middle of the night, two bats (!) started flying and squeaking in our room. It was a horrible moment but at least the hotel helped us and changed us to another room. We never opened the window since we arrived, so the bats must have been already in our room before we got there (!). I understand that these accidents can happen in a hotel, also in a four star hotel like this. The thing I don't understand is that when we checked out the personnel didn't mention the accident and didn't apologize. Only when we made them notice that we couldn't sleep at all due to the 'bats problem', they told us they were aware of the situation and were sorry about it. However they asked us to pay the full amount for our stay. Frankly we were disappointed by this, because after spending a night awake, we would have expected an apology and a discount at the moment of checking out. After an unpleasant conversation they gave us a 10 euros discount which however we considered quite low for compensating a night spent with bats (!).

The marvellous and stunning location was feet from Guemes Fair. We greatly enjoyed our senior queen room with very comfortable bed.

charming stay with warm staff

The hotel features a lovely roof terrace and an inviting pool area. I particularly enjoyed the detailed breakfast with freshly cooked eggs and a wide selection of fruits and pastries each morning.

While the room was spacious, I experienced some noise from outside during the night, which slightly disrupted my sleep. It's best to request a quieter room if you're sensitive to sound.

Large bed, large bathroom and a flat-screen TV with cable channels, central heating and a personal safe in the room. Lovely pool, parking inside the hotel courtyard...
